The Harvest

I have a small vegetable garden and it has produced very well. I have been canning tomatoes this morning. Great for soups, stews, or just eaten from the can with a meal. I do love fresh veggies and when they come from ones own labor, they taste even better, especially when you look at grocery prices these days.
I'm thankful that God has given us a bountiful harvest, just like He promises in His word.

Finally Friday

Today is the end of the week, the start of another weekend.

I love quotes, as a matter of fact I collect them, so I think I will add a quote to my page everytime I visit.

I also like Friday's because it means I can sleep in on Saturday, and not have to hit the rat race of this life,,,the thing we call work, the thing that absorbs so much of our time and life away from us and our family.

I like to spend part of my weekend with those lovely grandbabies that are so much a part of my life.
When I figure out how to use this blogging thing properly, I will show you some of the most beautiful babies in the world,,,my grandchildren.
