Stormy

Strom clouds hanging over Phoenix Mt. bringing rain, thunder, some hail...Wow and it is only February. Old folks used to say if we had a thunder storm in February then we could expect a frost on that same day in May. I have marked my calendar,,,we will see.........I don't doubt the word of the farmers of old, but it would be nice to prove that the text book version of science isn't always correct. Will post the results in May..so stay tuned....
Does that sound familiar? Just when your favorite TV show is getting good,,,,the producers choose that moment to end the season and you have to wait for months to see what happens. Thats' life folks,,and most of the time life is worth waiting for...despite the bumps in the road.
Stay safe and keep in out of the storm.

Sunday Visit

The babies stopped by for an unexpected visit..always lovely to see them. The little ones grow up so fast and change so quickly one can miss out on a lot if they don't visit for some time. Little Kailey is starting to jabber,,no one knows exactly what she is saying, but it is so much fun hearing her talking. She loves my cat Bella, and really enjoyed the fact that she was allowed to pet her for a short time. Bella isn't a children's cat..she usually hides when the kids are here, so it was a treat to see her and Kailey together.
My mom and dad taught me that reading would take me anywhere I wanted to go, and that laughter was good medicine for the soul...looks like little Kailey is learning young...she and Mom and Franny were reading Dora the Explorer..don't know what was so funny but she was having the time of her life.
Love it when the babies can laugh and glad to know that she is wanting to read already. Takes after granny......you think?
